Knocking Off The Rust

I've been out knocking off the rust from a long period of not making images. I'm also exploring the Bay Area a bit with the camera. I may work it into a project of some sort or I may just get out and see what there is to be seen.

But as you can see I am rusty. This isn't a great image by any stretch of the imagination. And actually, I've got to ask myself why I feel compelled to post it in the first place. I'm just not sure.

Part of it is that I miss interacting -- what little interaction there is -- on the blog. In some ways I'm struggling to find a new vision and a new voice. Does this image say anything at all about the photographer? I know it did the day I exposed the image, but after viewing it on the light table I'm no longer certain of it's message.

San Jose

Well, I've been here a week and all the particulars of moving have prevented me from getting out with the camera. But here is an image from a couple of years ago just down the coast on Hwy 1.

Moving

I mentioned in an earlier post that I'm moving to the Bay Area; new chance, new challenges, new opportunities. And I think the city of San Francisco will be a real inspiration for more images.
